Heron and Willow is a family run bookshop in the beautiful town of Jedburgh in The Scottish Borders.
Our curated selection of books and gifts aims to offer something unique. We’re particularly passionate about Scotland, as well as having a dedicated children’s section. We are also the only place in the Scottish Borders where you can buy new records (vinyl).
Our aim is for Heron & Willow to be a place where creativity happens, through workshops, projects and free activities. Within our first year we created multiple reading groups, a writing group, a two day festival and hosted author events. We love being part of our wonderful community!
Jedburgh is the first town of Scotland as you drive from Newcastle to Edinburgh on the A68 and sits very close to other Borders towns, such as Melrose, Kelso, Hawick and Galashiels.
Jedburgh boasts great tourist locations; Jedburgh Abbey, Jedburgh Castle and Mary Queen Of Scots House and some wonderful independent local shops, making it a great location for a day out, a longer visit or a holiday.
